Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Syncible, operated by We Design It Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales. By installing or using Syncible, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Syncible is a software application that automatically synchronises order data from your Shopify store to your Xero accounting organisation. The service is delivered as a Shopify App and billed through Shopify's billing system.

2. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and a Xero account to use Syncible. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm you have the authority to connect those accounts to Syncible.

3. Free Trial and Billing

All plans include a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, your chosen plan will be billed monthly through Shopify. Billing is managed entirely by Shopify — we do not store your payment card details. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin. No refunds are issued for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of your Shopify and Xero data. By using Syncible, you grant us permission to access and process that data solely for the purpose of delivering the sync service. We do not sell or share your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable, always-on service, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We will notify users of planned maintenance where possible. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary service unavailability.

7. Accuracy of Sync

Syncible syncs order data as provided by Shopify's API. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in data originating from your Shopify store, or for decisions made based on synced data. You should always verify your Xero records with your accountant or bookkeeper.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We Design It Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Syncible, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify admin. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
